Scope and contact
This notice explains data handling for the TigerMods website and ModManager. The TigerMods creator operates the service and determines how its authentication and delivery features use personal data. Contact the creator through the Contact page for privacy requests.
Data used by the service
- Patreon authentication: Patreon account ID, display name, membership and tier information, and membership payment-status indicators used to check eligibility. Patreon handles your password and payment-card details; ModManager does not ask you to enter them into TigerMods.
- Session information: an application-generated device identifier, login state, authentication results and a signed session token connecting your application session with your membership.
- Connection information: requests to the website and API expose information such as your IP address, request time and client information to the hosting infrastructure. Error messages may be logged for troubleshooting.
- Local application data: configured mod folders, installed-mod records, cached images, update files and a Windows-protected session are stored on your device. These local settings are distinct from data returned by Patreon.
- Support: information you choose to include in a message to the creator.
Purposes and legal bases
Account and membership information is used to provide requested access, authenticate sessions and deliver entitled downloads, as necessary to perform the service agreement. Security and limited troubleshooting processing serve legitimate interests in protecting and maintaining the service, subject to your rights. Information may also be retained where required by law. No advertising-consent mechanism is used to authorise essential authentication.
You can browse the public website without connecting Patreon. Without the information needed to check eligibility, the Manager cannot provide protected downloads. Membership checks determine access automatically; contact the creator if you believe an access decision is incorrect.
Providers and external links
Cloudflare provides the website and API infrastructure, database and file storage. Patreon provides authentication, membership and purchasing services. Following links to Patreon, YouTube or ModsFire takes you to services with their own data practices. Depending on provider operations, information may be processed outside your country, including outside the EEA. The relevant provider arrangements and applicable transfer safeguards govern those transfers.
Storage and retention
Successful temporary login records are removed from the API database when the application retrieves the session. Expired login records are cleaned up during subsequent authentication activity; this is not a guaranteed timed deletion job. Sessions normally expire after 24 hours under the current configuration. Token expiry does not itself erase all local application files.
Disconnecting removes the saved application session. Other local settings, installed records and caches can remain until you remove them. Close the application before removing its local data, and preserve any backups you still need. Provider logs and support messages may have separate retention periods, based on operational needs, provider settings and legal obligations.
Cookies and browser storage
The public website does not include an advertising or analytics tracker in its current site code. Hosting security features and external services can have their own cookies or similar storage. The administrator area offers optional local storage of an administrator key; this is not a visitor account feature. Non-essential tracking, if introduced, requires an appropriate notice and consent where applicable.
Your rights
Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your personal data, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it. Requests may require proportionate identity verification. You may complain to your local data protection authority; in Romania this is ANSPDCP.
Send privacy requests privately through the Contact page. Never include passwords or session tokens. This notice will be updated when relevant practices change.
